MOINHO WATERFALL

IMG_8969.jpg

Cachoeira do Moinho is one of falls of the Circuito do Vale do Sumidouro in Santa Bárbara do Tugúrio in Minas Gerais. The circuit consists of seven waterfalls. The waterfall is the first on the circuit if the trail starts along the Sumidouro Valley road, or it is the last if the tour starts at the Sumidouro waterfall. At the bottom of the fall there is a small lake.

The name of the waterfall comes from a small mill that has long operated next to the waterfall. Part of the installation is still present on site.

Many Pousada guests who visit the waterfall also choose to visit other waterfalls on the circuit. More information at the reception of the Pousada.
